Wilgo Anis – Haiti Team

Wilgo Anis

Wilgo joined the RWI family in 2009. We met Wilgo during our first trip to the mountains of Haiti when he joined us for 8 days and worked as our interpreter.

He was our hero.

Since then Wilgo has handled all of our in-country needs. He has been our eyes and ears on the ground especially after the earthquake when it became impossible to contact anyone. He has helped us set up our projects, arrange transportation and interpreting needs, and was instrumental in helping us find the right orphanage to sponsor and work with.

He also works as our “Social Worker” traveling to the orphanage weekly to make sure the children are being cared for. We would be lost without him.
